From Start to Finish: De Wain Valentine’s Gray Column is an exhibition catalog designed by Commonwealth Projects in conjunction with a documentary and an exhibition at the Getty Center. Together, they recount the obstacles De Wain Valentine and the Getty Conservation Institute overcame to finally showcase the work as part of the Pacific Standard Time Initiative. The 32-page book includes an essay, an interview with the artist, a number of archival images, and a DVD copy of the documentary.
