In the summer of 2012, Jerry Hsu debuted a new video series titled The Killing Season online. The series documented Hsu's 3-week motorcycle trip through Vietnam that featured constant rain, a broken rib, and much more, trafficking in the duality of bleakness and beauty. Hsu captured his journey on video and in photography, this photobook was published in a limited run of 150 copies, proving to be one of the most compelling installments in Hsu’s photobook oeuvre.
